Kerstin Gier, Author

Kerstin Gier, author of Girl About Time, was born in 1966 and is the author of a number of bestselling German women’s titles. Girl About Time, her first novel for young adults, was published in the original German as Rubinrot. Rubinrot achieved instant success, selling over 100 000 copies in Germany alone. Kerstin has many loves, besides her love of writing, including summer, strawberry cake, watching movies, playing the piano and drinking cappuccino. She lives in a small village in Germany with her husband and son and a very old black cat.
