Kate Wild, Author

Kate Wild, author of Fight Game and Firefight, was born in 1954 and lives in Leicester. Fifteen years after leaving school she decided to go to university and to earn extra money while she was there, she worked part time at a video production company where her duties included writing scripts for them. Kate's advice for budding authors is to ‘read the sort of books you’d like to write. Study how they are written. Then write your book in your own voice. If it gets rejected, don’t give up.’
