Hannah Shaw, Illustrator
Hannah Shaw is from a large family of sprout-munching vegetarians. She spent her formative years trying to be good at everything from roller-skating to gymnastics, before studying illustration at the University of Brighton. Inspired by her love of animals, Hannah wrote and illustrated her first picture book Evil Weasel which won the Cambridgeshire Children's Picture book award 2009.
Since then she has illustrated a number of critically acclaimed animal inspired picture books, including the wonderfully funny The Sleep Sheep for Chicken House. Hannah currently lives in a little cottage in the Cotswolds, with her husband Ben and her rescue dog Ren.
